Fox Glacier. Notice the Department of Conservation spelling: “Ice may collapase at any time…” Clearly, this guy doesn’t understand the sign because of the spelling mistake, so he decides to walk past. In shorts and thongs…

  1. That guy wasn’t as crazy as your father and I going for a walk less protected than that 40 years ago. It was a glorious summer’s afternoon but we realised how daft we were when in the distance we could see and hear the avalanches falling.

    Great photos again, Tanya.

Hope you’re having a lovely birthday. Did you see your photo on my blog? Michelle laughed – I can’t think why….lol.

    Hugs and heaps of love.

  2. I can’t believe we didn’t take the time to visit NZ while we were living in Australia. The scenery is amazing! Love the dolphins and whales.
A very happy, very belated birthday to you.
I saw the photo of you and your dad….smashing. 🙂
