Home again

I’m back. The past two days have included a plane cancellation (had to stay another night in Vanuatu – poor me), a close encounter with a wild and hungry sea snake* and an earthquake.

*The encounter with the wild (well, it was in the ocean) and hungry (it was breakfast time – aren’t all things hungry?) sea snake was not much more than seeing one (about a metre in length and only slightly thicker than my thumb) and trying to photograph it through the water. But it was a close encounter – I was not more than two metres away – even if I was on dry land!
